Effective date: October 3, 2026. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit aethemes.com ("the site"), operated by AE Themes, an independent publication.
1. Information we collect
The site has no user accounts, contact forms, comments, newsletter signups, or checkout, so we don't ask you for personal information. Information is collected automatically in two ways:
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors find the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and referring site. - Server logs: our hosting provider may record standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) for security and operations.
2. How we use information
We use aggregated analytics to decide which guides to update or expand, and logs to keep the site secure and working. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
3. Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Browser privacy features and content blockers that block analytics scripts don't affect your ability to read the site.
4. Children
The site is intended for adults starting or running a business. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
5. Third-party links
Guides link to government agencies and other external sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
6. Changes
If our practices change — for example, if we add a newsletter — we will update this policy and its effective date.
